"Old Friends & New Trends: PDEs and Applications" workshop | July 13–14, 2026

On July 13, within the framework of the “Old Friends & New Trends: PDEs and Applications” workshop, CSIE team member and researcher Avetik Arakelyan and CSIE leading researcher Tigran Bakaryan will present their research talks.

"A Mean-Field Game model for large-scale attrition in attacker–defender systems"

Speaker: Avetik Arakelyan

This talk introduces a new mathematical framework for studying large-scale attacker–defender interactions and identifying optimal strategies through modern Mean-Field Game methods.

"Delayed collective dynamics in Nomadic Mean-Field Games"

Speaker: Tigran Bakaryan

The presentation explores how environmental memory influences the movement and behavior of large populations. The talk combines analytical results with numerical simulations, revealing new patterns of collective dynamics.

Venue։ American University of Armenia, 40 Marshal Baghramyan Ave․, Yerevan

Dates։ July 13–14, 2026
