We are pleased to share that the paper "Game-Theoretic Coordination for Time-Critical Missions of UAV Systems", co-authored by CSIE team members, has been published in “IEEE Transactions on Control of Network Systems” — ranked 4th in the "Control and Optimization" category by SCImago Journal & Country Rank.

The work addresses a key challenge in drone mission planning: how can a group of UAVs stay coordinated while each one adapts independently to changing conditions? The proposed framework lets every drone make its own decisions using only local information, yet the group as a whole achieves reliable, system-wide coordination. Built on game theory and model predictive control, the approach works in real time and remains effective even under communication failures and uncertain environments.
